Florida is all set to host the 2016 Kona World Windsurfing Championship. This will be the 3rd time USA will be hosting this event. It is scheduled from October 28 to November 2. It will be held in Islamorada, Florida Keys.
We can expect to see more than 110 former competitors and champions from 12 different countries. Which are the countries participating in the event? You will see participants from Germany, United States, Holland, Denmark, Great Britain, Sweden, Canada, Mexico and China. They held the event in Denmark last year.

As far as Surf Expo is concerned, it is one of one of the longest running board sports trade show in the world. Who voted for it? Well, retailers from all over the US cast their votes. They had to vote for the already nominated brands. In the windsurfing category, Kona was the winner.
