Acadia Delivered By Claasen To It’s Owner

Dutch shipyard Claasen delivered the truly Classic 90 series.


The ship is built from aluminum and its superstructure classification of MCA and Lloyd’s. Acadia has the features of naval architecture and its exterior styling has been done by Hoek Design.

Owner’s representatives Peter Wilson said, “Acadia is a mini superyacht that has a world-class standard. The ship has wonderful craftsmanship and the owner of the yacht is pleased with that.”

The yard said that the owner of the yacht took a close interest in the interior work and fit-out, the owner specified Golden Beach granite and white Calacatta Michelangelo marble in the interior of the yacht.

The yacht has the accommodation capacity of three crew members and five guests. The ship is split into five en-suite cabins, that includes a VIP double to port, a bunk cabin to starboard and a full-beam owner’s suite aft. The interior of the ship has been done in Swietenia mahogany and its styling is done by interior Colleen Waguespack.

The extremely stylish yet classy, aft deckhouse of the Acadia has a feature that it lets the deckhouse person get direct access to the cabin of the owner. There is a raised central saloon present that provides great all-round views. There is a central superyacht staircase present in the yacht that links this area to the galley and lower-deck dinette.

The designer had also taken care of the lighting of this yacht. There are ten skylights fixed on the on the yacht to ensure natural light comes in.
